Global XP disappearing

So over the course of playing today my global XP just keeps vanishing between games. I've lost something like 40k global XP in the last few hours. What is going on?

Have you been upgrading commanders?
They don’t do a good job of letting you know that you’re using GXP in place of commander XP, so that could be it. Other than that, I can’t say what could be the cause.
